At the Piano

‘At the Piano’ is a series of interviews with piano teachers. Like my successful and very popular ‘Meet the Artist’ series, ‘At the Piano’ takes the form of a short questionnaire designed to provoke interesting, insightful and wide-ranging responses on all aspects of piano teaching, including repertoire, technique, performing, competitions, great teachers past and present, and more. The interviews will feature both well-established and well-known teachers in top conservatoires and specialist music schools, and private teachers in the UK and beyond.

Forthcoming interviewees include Lucinda Mackworth-Young, Catherine Riley, and Lola Perrin.

If you would like to take part in the series, please download and complete the questionnaire: At the Piano questionnaire (Word document)
